Inspired by Nature

I’m a graduate of “ss. Cyril and Methodius” University- design and technology of furniture and interior in Skopje, Macedonia.

After finishing my studies, despite obtaining much knowledge I realized my true vocation demanded more than only theoretical fluency. I began pursuing different artistic paths, physical practice and hands-on approach. As enthusiast of the visual world I’m dedicated to ongoing study of art in all of its forms, working to reveal the story within each piece of wood. This requires persistence, patience and grasp of the organic material.

All my work is handmade, created with traditional tools in my studio without use of computer controlled machines. My artistic process starts from sketch to forming and carving each piece individually. No two sculptures are identical thus making each one of a kind. My work is greatly influenced by naturalism and ornament, along with symbolism in their opposition.

Craftsmanship and the love for the arts are combined in a unique way. Unifying the ability to manipulate tools effectively with the ability to see and observe the surrounding world.  To transform the lines and shapes of what we see, translate those impressions and ideas into sculptural form. Breathing new life into a simple piece of wood.

Over the years I have taken interest between sculpture and functionality, traditional carving and conceptual design. Always searching for new experiments I find the journey of the creative process its own reward. My portfolio will best describe the time, energy and effort I put into my work.
