An ornate decorative hand carved walnut wood with botanical theme. Traditional deep relief composition that gives a sculptural effect.

Carved from one wood plank using only old-fashioned hand held bench chisels, small detail chisels and carving knives.

Scrolled branches carved in great detail with leaves and acorns gives great visual motion effect to the carving. Oak trees, leaves and acorns are revered as symbols of strength and longevity.

The oak is associated with many gods, in sacred grooves they impart wisdom through oracles.
